I'm not 9 years old! I'm 10! Do I look 9 to you?! Do I, PUNK!?!

Yesterday during our softball "game" (BVHP is a joke, really) Sati destroyed her whole mouth. There was blood everywhere and it was crazy. I saw The Bourne Supremacy today with Alessandra. I don't think Matt Damon is hot (a contrair...) but he is a good actor. Well, whatev. I leave for Montreal on Tuesday, I'm saying that a lot, but I'm only so excited. I'd've prefered to go to Argentina, but you know... I know a kid from Argentina - Lucia. She was in my first grade group.

Wild and Crazy Guy

I got my ears pierced again today, I have a double piercing. Look for it soon, kids! Except I have softball in a little bit, you have no idea how much I'm not looking forward to it, I really really really hate it. Thank G-d I'll be done soon.

Under da Sea

I went and had a spaz yesterday; I watched Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. (I also watched Aladdin last week) You gotta love Disney movies. I guess I was in the mood because at Zoo Camp the kids that come early were watching The Lion King and Bambi (that's the one I couldn't remember, Betsy). I mean, who doesn't love Zazu or Lumiere and Cogsworth or Sebastian or even Flower and Thumper or Abu? These movies rock. I'm never throwing them away.

"Stop swearing and go home."

No lies, huh. I saw "I, Robot" today, and it was pretty good. Shia LeBouff or whatever had his absolute best roll ever.

"I got this hot, ass-tight spankin' girl!"
"What does that even mean?"
"You know what it means!"

Dana wasn't here today, so we had Erin fill in for her. Jennie and I got to lead a group, and then I saw her later at Nordstroms. Creeeepy.

When Parasites Attack

Kendall, Izzy, Jamie, Maya, Lina, and Becka have all been begging me to play random hand games with them, even after I begged them to stop. I'm also
extremely tired. My hand is actually throbbing, so I'm writing this with my left hand only. I'm such a crazed sex machine. ("Get off my back, you crazed sex machine!!" - Two wild and crazzzy guys!)

Well, what if they fed me to the lions?

Yes, yes, wouldn't that be nice, Kevin. In other news, I saw Will and Marny over by the Savana exhibit. (I wonder who I will see today?) Kendall, Izzy, and Jamie made me sit with them at lunch, which I didn't really mind, but I'm pretty sure I said no nuts. And my softball game was cancelled. And plus, Jen and Manny let us go home and we'd have practice tomorrow. Yay! Apparently, Courtney's brother is going to Zoo Camp too, but I'm not going to be working there. (He's a coyote!) It's sad, because I really love him. He always says hi to me, then asks if he knows me.

An African Space Chicken

Saw Rachel today while at work. Marisa said it was okay for her to give me a hug, the crazed lunatic (pick one - Marisa or Rachel). She's the first 8th/9th grade Burkie I've seen since Friday. (I love you, Rachel!) Tres tragique, I know. I was with the 3rd graders today, which was odd, because I had only been with the 1st graders and the kindergarteners. Well, I still like them, even Kendall and Kevin, the loud ones that never listen. Well, Kendall listens most of the time...

I hate milk.

I've been trying out thse new formatting that Blogger has put up. It's quite fab, because I'm really incompetent in making the font change. Thank you, Blogger, for understanding the lazy. Kisskiss!

I got running shoes today. They feel really odd, because I'm used to practically living in Converse - you know, slabs of rubber and canvas, no support whatsoever. Oooh, fun!

Snow Patrol is a very, very, very good band. I suggest to y'all (wahhooo) to go check them out. They're Irish! But they met in Scotland. You have no idea how much you can learn from 105.3. Ha ha. I make myself laugh.

This is absolutely insane. I know I'm the only one of my friends blogging, but I hope one of ya'll (I've said that so much as a joke it's becoming second nature...ooops!) is reading this. Maybe Raquel or Katherine'n'Mara or Betsy.

I saw Mara today. I haven't seen her in a shmillion, billion, kajillion years! She ended up telling me these crazy stories about Igor and ... romantic...dreams involving super heros - i.e. Spiderman and the Hulk, as well as other crazy stories, like the 3 year old DDR freaks and the Confederate restauraunt. (Who knew that the confederates had actual food? Crazy, I know.)

Launch has been giving me crazy problems. Like, I was trying to play St Anger by Metallica, and they gave me a Kelly Clarkson song. OKAY! No simliarity. Stoop.

Last day with the kids - ahem, 16 boys, 3 girls. Jeez. I was so goddamn sick of Curtis. He hid on top of the playground structures and wouldn't come back down. Earlier, he had run into the street to go back home. Bloody. Hell. Well, I don't think I'm gonna be seeing him anymore. I hope I'm in the Tigers next week, but I don't know as they didn't put up any signs.

I'm tired of listening to that guy.

I'm with the Flamingos again this week. Guess how many girls there are? Yep, that's right, three. Allison, Allison, and (no, not Allison, although that would be hilarious to the extreme) Katherine. And I was suprised that Cherry was 14. She seems like, 16 or 17. Tres wierd.

Hey, he stole that guy's pizza!

My last couple of days have been crazy.

Thursday: Nicole and I went to see Spiderman - it was excellent, and if Toby Maguire isn't already a shmexer (see links) he should be. Then we were rebellious and went to the Walgreens a quarter of a mile away in less than 30 minutes, just for a lippy. Oh, and later, I finally saw the Czech brothers and their swanging bachelor pad, and the "NOT PENIS CREME", and the King Tut. Tres hilarious, mon amies. I also saw A Mighty Wind, which wasn't as good as This Is Spinal Tap or Waiting for Guffman. (I'd love to see this town...in the autumn...though...)

Friday: Last day with the kids. Never ever gonna forget Eleanor, Olivia, Lucia, Kendall, Tyler, and all of them whom I've already forgotten! Oh, yes, Katharine, Lauren, Zoe, and Leah! Watched SGX. Oop, I've got to write something about that.

Saturday: I got my new piano teacher, Hilary. She's uber nice, and she's teaching me Jazz piano, which is a HUUUUUGE change from what I'm used to. A good change. And I might start learning The Jitterbug on piano, which is probably the best song. Except for the witches song, but didn't Ms Thompson and/or Billy just make that up? Or not, somebody leave a comment and let me know.

Coincidental

The past few days have been extraordinarily coincidental. Let's list.

Olivia (one of the kids) offered me macadamia nuts - twice.
Eleanor is Nicole's little little sister from Burkes.
Greg said "No touching!" twice, and the second time I was giggling so hard I had to leave to get a drink.
The board at the ball game said, and I am not kidding, "Happy Birthday, Michael! Love, Lindsay". I just about died of laughter.
Another time, the board said, and I'm not kidding about this either, "Welcome, George B. and family!"

There were more coincidents, but I can't remember them. Oh, and we won our softball game against the Jamestown team, 14 - 1.

BFF LIST - REVISED

  • AJ Perzinzky
  • Katharine

Lemur Lemur Lemur!

I got my new groupo de chicos today. I felt terrible, because I was trying really hard to communicate in spanish with Emilio, but I couldn't, and now he thinks I'm an idiot. I wanted to tell him to go talk to Lucia, but she left early. So much for that. And one of my new BFF's is Katharine. I think I'm gonna list my BFF's right here, so ya'll don't forget.

No more Helen Keller jokes!

We had the "cousin's campout" thing this weekend. Every year, it loses it's allure. I even called Nicole, and she was more hyper than usual, despite the lack of caffine. Odd. I hid under two cars - I got stuck under one and then got terrified that people could see under my skirt, and in the other one I came out and was covered in black dust. At dinner Nick told incredibly bad jokes. Not bad as in dirty, bad as in oh, god, that was too bad. My cousin (who is practically a celebrity with all ya'll) says he was in a group called the Gay Pop Singers. I said that was probably very accurate, then fell of my chair laughing. I'm mean.

Mm, spicy!

Today was my last day of working with the little kids. Sob, sob, tear tear, not SOB SOB. Please. I'm just gonna list them, so I don't forget.

Audrey
: Blonde girl I didn't start to get to know until today. She dumped sand on my head.
Kendall: Brown haired girl I also didn't start to get to know until today. She also dumped sand on my head.
Maya: We had fun making wieghts out of her bandana and sand. (Sadly, most of these have to do with sand.)
Zoe: Portuguese kid who helped clear the slide of sand. (See? Sand!)
Alexandra: Erm, quite annoying, but her heart is in the right place. She's going to...oh, hell with it, Burkes next year.
Elsa: This girl I keep wanting to call FREYA! She reminds me of a mouse. Adorable.
Gabriel: LOUD! But I love him. We got poisoned by his frog. :)
Griffen: Aww, I don't really know him. :( But hey, he's adorable.
Sam: He took me off to jail, despite my protests.
Eric: He tried to scare me tooo many times by shouting BOO into my ear.
Helen: Eric's twin. I didn't realize this until like, yesterday. I didn't really talk to her.
Amina: Totally Katherine. She had this katherine-esque frown that Katherine had in all of her lower school pictures.
Lauren: This girl is completely double jointed in both her hands. It's kinda creepy, but she's really cute. She gave me a flower.
Frances: Aka Frannie. Adorable. She has these two cute buckteeth.
James: Frannie's brother. He too tried to scare me by shouting BOO into my ear.
Katie: She was pretty sullen most of the time and wouldn't talk to me unless Frannie needed to.
Sierra: We counted a lot and compared our ages. I told her that I was 14, and she said, "I thought so! I saw the braces."
Maddie: GORGEOUS hair! Gorgeous! It's so pretty and blonde. She didn't want to ride the merry-go-round, and we talked about cockroaches. I told her they could live without heads for 10 days, and she didn't believe me.
Delaney: Cute, but kinda like Katie - she didn't really talk to me.
Amanda: My abfab tiger buddy. Need I say more? It was her idea to bury me in sand.

OOh, and we went to Jakarta! FINALLY! And the Black Panther's exhibit, which I found informative, if not biased, violent, and one-sided. But what can you expect from a opressed black group? They did some pretty neat things, such as opening up public free health clinics and giving breakfast to ghetto kids. (Not "GHETTO" kids, ghetto kids. Remember Ms P, guys and dolls...)

Badonkadonk.

I got my new 'ish-you' of YM today, and I was flipping through it and something caught my eye - badonkadonk. Yes, people, badonkadonk. I'm sure ya'll will be shocked.

Zoo Camp News - Amanda is my bff. (Don't worry Mia, not my boy friend forever.) We were tigers today, which was odd, because we were 'studying' marsupials. Well, whatever.
