It's Anju and Rachel's birthday today!

Am I the only one who really doesn't get this?

Tonight's first game involves teams of two flipping over sombreros until they find a number. Then they have to find the chicken (yes, chicken) with a leg tag matching that number, catch it, and put it in a pen. Each chicken is worth $2000 and some "superchickens" are worth $5000. Everyone actually does really well, and the teams put a lot of money in the pot. Clearly, the producers felt bad about how low the pot was. The second game is similar to one that has been done in past seasons: one person has to run through a maze while his or her partner watches on a video monitor and calls out directions. The twist is that the maze-runner has to grab a wrestling belt and then, while in the maze, avoid being caught by Mexican wrestlers. Dennis is halfway through before he realizes that he never picked up a belt, so he has to go back, and gets caught. Tracey nearly makes it, but due to Stephen's confusing directions, she gets caught as well. Mark (with Keshia's directions) makes it through and wins $20,000 for the team. After the game, Dennis and Tracey pay $5,000 to open their belts, and Tracy discovers an exemption inside. In the secret game of the week, Mark has to clean everyone's plate after dinner to win an exemption and $10,000 for the pot. That's a lot of leftovers. He nearly makes it, but chokes on the last two bites. In the end, Stephen gets executed.

Yeah, I thought so.

I gave Anju pretty purple earings for a birthday present today. And I still have to give Rachel hers. Ah, well, I shall do it on monday.
